Ha, yeah, they're bunjee cords. Did a jump recently.It was amazing! My first one, 160 ft over a lake.But was probably the best photo I could find of my dreads.

Finally fot there, and I can really feel the roots knotting up now
They're still got there loops and bumps, one at the backs pretty much looks like a chain of S-shapes, but I love it!Do miss the fuzzy fat things though.Thought I'd let you all know how pleased I am, even if it's only been 3 month :LHere's a pic' to celebrate.

Interesting point.I've noticed that aswell, and to be honest, wear alot less make-up now I've got my dreads. Though I never wore alot before.Sometimes I'll wear face powder, eyeliner and mascara to work. I'm a awaitress, and we're 'expected' to look presentable I s'pose :LWhen I'm 'out on the town' I'll doll up but usually try to mix it up, make my make-up a bit different like, birght colours and patterns etc. so alot like yours...But in day to day terms, I rarely wear any at all. And yeah, you could say it boosts my confidence, because I can go into work or school or town, and people not say 'Are you okay? You look ill.' like with so many other people.
What about lice in dreadlocks?

Thanks for this thread guys!I've got little siblings that have recently aquired nits from school, yay! So thought I'd look a little bit into it just incase I got them too.Any advice on trying to keep 'em out in the first place?
