Newbie...loose hairs?

Introduce Yourself

This may be a silly question but is it normal to have loose hairs EVERYWHERE? Im sure that its due to the backcombing that I did in the beginning but Im not sure what to do if anything. Should I just let the loose hairs go with everything and not try to keep it separated? Today I ran my hands through my hair and felt all these strands of hair that aren't dreaded and kinda freaked out. Thursday is my one week point so perhaps this is normal.. any advice?

Newbieeee!

Introduce Yourself

I started with back combing but a lots of mine started to unravel.. I reverted to the twist and rip and am loving the difference that it made! Im having to t&r many of the backcombed ones that are slowly loosening up.. I do have VERY straight hair though so perhaps yours will stay together better.
