Something I am very curious about. Has anyone who is white/hispanic/asian anything other than black had issues with black people over their dreads?

Life Issues Facing Dreads

hmm i had bleached dreads for a while (i'm asian by the way) while in college and i have heard some negative and some strange ass comments from people as well. for the most part, i find a simple honest answer is all that's required or none at all.i think public transportation is plenty safe. and lucky for us the dc metro area has a lot more diversity than it used to. my parents own a store in a predominantly black neighborhood in baltimore and used to hear plenty of racist stuff and they don't have dreads. LOL.soaring eagle, and the rapper who just cut his dreads was lil' wayne.on the flip side, i've met some totally awesome people and gotten tons of nice comments when i had dreads as well. it can be a great conversation starter all i can say is life's too short to worry about the knuckleheads. enjoy the things that make you you. you won't get another chance. unless you believe in reincarnation but who knows you could come back as a frog for a while. LOLOLOLOL.

Hiya gang. second time around dreading my hair as i cut my dreads the first time to work in corporate america. spent a grueling 5 years working, but was never satisifed with either the money or the life.LOL. actually was a very productive employee and no one at work understood me quitting especially in an economy like this. i'm still on my spiritual journey to figure out who i am, but its sure as heck nice to not have to dress up for work and be told to shave :Olucky for me i'm now successfully self employed, which means i can grow my dreads back. its my first week starting back up and find the comraderie nice i'm incredibly shy, so maybe i'll get some strength to post pictures eventually.
