super clean dreads (safe for baby locks too)
This thread is ridiculous. SE is making a point of maintaining a 1:10 BS:water ratio.
1 cup = 8 fluid oz = half pint = 240mL
OK ya'll a couple things: If Whole Foods is the only place you can find, they do have most essential oils you might be looking for, but seriously, they're the Wal-mart of natural foods stores. Their top priority is clearly maximizing profits for their shareholders. SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESS! Find a local (non-chain) natural foods store and develop a relationship with the people that own & run the place. It'll be worth it.
Next a little (unrelated) anecdote: I've been using this recipe since May 2010. On a recent trip to a natural foods store, I inattentively grabbed a bottle out of the row containing tea tree oil, only to notice upon arriving home that I had accidentally grabbed essential oil of lime. In life I try to waste as little as possible, so I've been putting 3-5 drops in my BS and ACV mixtures and it smells GREAT! My current recipe: 9 drops Tea Tree, 10 drops Lavender, 10 drops Rosemary, 4 drops Peppermint, 4 drops Lime.
Before I had dreads, I wore a medium or small helmet (for snowboarding). After 2 years of neglect, I had to size up to an XL. My merino wool Buff is incredibly comfortable underneath. It pulls my dreads back out of my face, and it is my go-to for a variety of situations. Awesome product - HIGHLY recommended.
If you say so, SE. Given my past experiences with the judicial system, I guess that's just not how I feel.

Nothing. They didn't even mention them until I worked for them for a week or so. I should mention too that I moved from Pittsburgh to Colorado for the job and now I'm stuck in a 6-month lease without a job after only 2 months. Awesome.

Wow Matt.... that sucks. Wtf is wrong with people? What did they say about your dreads during the interview/upon hire?
In January I started working for Vail Resorts (specifically Keystone). Although they hired me w/ dreads and my job required zero customer interaction, after a week or 2 of employment they insisted I keep them as hidden as possible at all times. Coworkers were allowed to keep "well-groomed beards", but I had to remain clean shaven, as long as I wished to keep my dreads. My boss said it was "one or the other". Friday they fired me.
These huge corporations can do whatever they want.
