Dr Bronners

Dread Maintenance

Thanks so much for the advice everyone. Glad I didn't just put a nice big handful straight in my hair! I'll have to try the thyme tea for the oil production I can go about two days and then it starts to bug me. Do I just boil some dried thyme from the market to make the tea? Any ratio or recipe for that?

Dr Bronners

Dread Maintenance

Hi every one! Just got rid of my comb and start my dread journey yesterday. I've picked up a bottle of Dr. Bronners and don't know if I should use it straight out of the bottle like shampoo or if I need to delute it first? I also assume I should just massage it in my scalp and try and rinse without disturbing the rest of my hair. I've got pretty oily scalp and afraid my hair may not want to start locking up if its oily? Thanks for any advice.

Beads and Sea Salt Sprays?

Dread Maintenance

Thanks for the thought there I hadn't been considering that! I imagine the same would hold true for the different energies for different types of wood. Didjeridurian said:
Wood would be ok , but I would think that saltwater would corrode the metal ones.
Also, metaphysically speaking, you don't really want just any old metal on that part of your body. Theres loads of electromagnetic activity in that region and if you have a metal there it should be either a pure sterling silver copper or good quality gold. They have a similar vibrational rate to the top of your head (crown). Hence gold crown.
