Help! Save My Dreads

Hm, well swimming with dreads can be heavy and slow you down, so it is a little handicap so to speak.

dread suicide :'(

Member Journals and Timelines

Don't worry, they will work themselves out in the end. Mine looked like thick ropes braided by a blind man for months before becoming the dreadlocks they are today. Just look at the early pictures on my profile, can't get much worse than that. :P

Big scar over my right eye, going from the temple to my cheek. On top of that, it healed wrong, so I've got some deformed skin around the eyesocket that holds that eye more open than the left one. for some reason, the scar itself never shows much on my pictures. probably because of crappy quality. :P Shiva'sMattedLocks said:

Hm, i think i have mine tied to tight. Losened it up a bit now, so hopefully we'le see some progres in the coming weeks. Paula said:
The beads definitely work. I've had beads on mine less than two weeks and they have already started to join at the roots. But then again my roots try to eat each other every day..lol

wrapping them will work too i believe. But not too tight

Throw a bead around the two dreads that you want to combine.

The other ones in that area are thick enough as it is, while those two have gotten worryingly thin in the root, so i have them wrapped togheter and hope they work themselves out. If one month have no results, maybe another one will help. :P GreyGargoyle said:
Why don't you try combining those to two with different locks.

I've had a couple of mine wrapped up together for a month now, but they're STILL unvilling to congo. :/

Nightmare about losing dreads

Life Issues Facing Dreads

I've had several different dreams aboat me losing my dreasd in some way. In one, I dreamt that i got so much loose hair in my roots that one day they just snapped of. In another one, I for some reason or another cut them of, and regretted afterwards, and tried desperatly to attach them to they hair that was left.In all cases I woke up terrified. :S
