okay to get hair wet everyday when neglecting?

So i dont wash my hair everyday but i definitely do get it wet in the shower.

Not sure if this helps or slows down the process so i was just wondering everyones thoughts.

Should i just continue how ive been doing or perhaps buy a shower cap?

Does dreadlocked hair look lighter in color?

sometimes i see pics of people with dreadlocks that have dark roots yet the dreaded areas seem to be lighter in color.

i was wondering if this is a natural occurrence due to your hair being bunched up into dreadlocks or if these people most likely bleached their hair.

So its my second week, hair is getting all frizzy and fluffy . Is it okay for me to wear a beanie? or is it recommended that i dont wear any hats?

uhoh...... Im using dr. Bronners i havnt really noticed anything weird though i would go as far as to say i like the way my hair feels after i use it.

Question about neglect method

So Before i started the neglect method, i usually have my hair parted down the middle. and basically thats how it was when it started neglecting it. Is that okay or should i have had my hair combed a certain direction before? or does it not matter.

Thanks for the replies guys =D. So when my bar finally arrives how do i go about washing my hair? Do IA) Rub the bar directly against my hair?B) Lather up some suds in my hand and then apply it to my hair?
