aloe vera

Dreading Methods

i did yeh i went all over my local town but to be honest its probs not the best place in the world to find something natural .... i think i may have to order some offline looks like thts my only way im guna get any and thanks for replying x heidi may said:
did you look in the health food section? i found mine with the dietary health supplements and stuff. or you could go to the garden section and just invest in a real plant too. but i'd check the health section first before you go with the bar soap. i'm not sure if that would really do anything other than clean them. you use the aloe vera as a gel like you would use a gel on regular hair, so i think it would work better in that form.

when i'm out of aloe sometimes i use a small amount of shea butter, which is a lot easier to find and is still easy to wash out...plus it smells wonderful. :)

good luck with your search!

Introduce Yourself

they have actually started to drop better now they have been washed so thts great...im guna wear a head band type thing lol to cover the frizz as its only on the top of my head were the roots are so that shud cover them...thanks for replying tho =)one question if you dont mind because i let them just get on with it they arnt round there like flat and miss shaped is this normal? and will it go and round with time? Iain said:
Hey there awesome!, and you didn't freak out after your first shower so thats good :P
well all you described is normal especially so young,
as for the frizz, well wear a beanie till you're ready to go out, that way the frizz usually stays down till it gets moving again, or aloe them back,
that what I do, which helps them in the beginning of my day,

Introduce Yourself

im going to let them sort them selves out and just T&R at the beginning then go from there i will take lots of pics and keep everyone posted.....let the dreading journey commence im so excited! Iain said:
Hey there, I don't really have much else to add except good luck! I wish I had gone (or even know what the hell T&R was) and that's coming from someone who backcombed (plus waxed)

be sure to take lots of pics, and give them time :)
other than that if you were still looking into using crocheting (you said you wanted to use them on the tips? perhaps to blunt them?) in time some of them may blunt naturally, if you decided you still wanted to, I'd probably recommend at least letting your T&R have some time to mature and then try it if you wanted to then,

and you probably also know they hold water like beasty little sponges, lol
