so ive heard wearing/sleeping in wool hats can be good for dreads. sooo im looking to buy one but i wanted to buy one from someone on this site before i went looking around at others! also, should i buy a 100% wool hat? because ive been searching around and all i can really find is like 50% hemp 50% wool. anyways, if you are selling any or know of anyone who is please let me know!!

after waiting a whooooooole year for my hair to grow out, im finally going to start my dreads today! so i just wanted some opinions on what i should wash my hair with first. i know, no conditioners or anything of the such. last time i used the dreadhead soap and then locking accelerator and it worked rather well. i definitely didnt use the wax...then i washed my hair with dr bronners about once a week. but ive heard so much about baking soda and stuff sooo i was just seeing what you guys used as far recipes and such! thanks!!!!

shortest length to start dreads??

I cut my dreads off about 4 months ago because i didnt like the way they came out and i knew id eventually get tired of them so i figured i better restart now rather than later. my hair is about 3.5 inches long now. i want to start my dreads as soon as possible! i cant stand not having them! i know they shrink up a bit, so what length do you think my hair should be before i start them?

and how long was your hair when you first started yours?
