starting dreads today! what should i wash my hair with first?

after waiting a whooooooole year for my hair to grow out, im finally going to start my dreads today! so i just wanted some opinions on what i should wash my hair with first. i know, no conditioners or anything of the such. last time i used the dreadhead soap and then locking accelerator and it worked rather well. i definitely didnt use the wax...then i washed my hair with dr bronners about once a week. but ive heard so much about baking soda and stuff sooo i was just seeing what you guys used as far recipes and such! thanks!!!!

well baking soda or any clarifying shampoo is a good choice the clarifying shampoos remove residues and return the hair to near natural theyre not great after dreading but pre-dread they help prepare the hairsea salt sprays are great too
