Prospective Dreadhead Reporting In...

Introduce Yourself

also SE..i write a fair bit of ambient drone myself..i try and make absolutly beautiful and emotionaly provoking..not all of it sounds like the weight of exsistence coming down www.myspace.com/mistsofnowhere soaringeagle said:
ok i looked up sun o))) and well i couldnt tell if i was listening to music or a motorcycle passing by..but i did manage to endure 3 seconds
mournfull whatever was depressing.. did ressemble music at least i mean had the elements of music, ..baseline rythem etc ..but was painfil and depressing ..i did manage maybe 8 seconds though
dont mean to be offensive though i used to like alotta annoying noise back in the day..just anymore i cant stand anything thats not both non commercialized and uplifting
i mean how can ya be a healthy happy person when the music ya subject yourself to is all just ..die die die ..kill kill kill (i didnt hear any lyrics so not basing it on that just the depressive feel of it)

So I tried marijuana for the first time yesterday.

General Talk

i think to enjoy it you need to be in the right mindset for it..rather than letting it put you in the mindset. The first time i tried it, it was pressure off friends (young when i was 13-14) and i hated it because i didn't want to try it at first and i got it in my head for a long time that it was horrible stuff. Its wasnt until a few years ago i was introduced back to it...it was a clear winter night in the middle of the lake district here in the UK. i went out with some friends camping to experience they black metal life style they led for a while...during the night we drank and chilled out to ambient music and it was soo uplifting..so when the marijuana was being passed around..it just seemed natural that time...and it enhanced the experience all night long. ever since then i've welcomed it with open arms...a few times i did it out of boredom and 9 times out of 10 i had all the negative side effects of it..so i only do it in good company and good times wheather embracing depressing beautiful music or what ever :)

sooooo... my dad confronted me...

General Questions

ah I got old fashioned parents here so anything i've ever done in my day has come under scruteny..my mother nearly died when i came home with an entire tattoo sleeve and nose pericings..i guess once you get the point across you know what you are doing and it's something you really believe in, they'll accept it and realise its all part of growing up. i mean now they hardly if not never deny me what i want to do, as long as i appreciate i live with them and dont take the piss

just used SEs baking soda wash

Dread Maintenance

you'll never need to find those scissors again, its absolutly amazing at making your hair all soft and super clean Karma Jane said:
sometimes when my hair just gets a little bit wet.. like if i tie them up when i take a shower, or if i get rained on a little.. my head will itch like crazy!! I wash my hair about once a week maybe twice a week, so they're not too dirty, and not too clean.. but sometimes it itches so bad i make my mom hide the damn scissors!.. do you think the baking soda mix will help with this??

Play any instruments?

General Talk

i've been a guitar player for most of my life (17 years nearly) but i dabble with almost everything that makes a noise...but most notibly recently i've been fooling around with Alot of ethnic Percussion and a japanese koto harp. I'm bloody notorious for electronic circuit-bent things though :P...it all works when writing ambient drone :)

Baking soda wash?

Dread Maintenance

the baking soda wash is a work of genius, even though i'm still forming my dreads..it washes it better than shampoo/conditioner ever did :D..for a stupidly small fraction of the price as well :P
