Yeah but you shed over 100 hairs a day, they dont end up on your shirt when you have dreads, they stay within. Thats possibly just where those landed. I remember mine were starting to do things like that right around 3-5 weeks after backcombing.

Ha ha MastHAIRbation is such a funny visual to me. I honestly think with this topic.. To each is own. Ive gone many days without touching my dreads and lots of days playing with them. Doesnt seem to make too much of a diff lol. Sister Rags said:

I occasionally palm roll while my dreads are still damp and it does help smooth out some of the lumps and flyaways. It's not totally ineffective. I also do it when some of my dreads are zig zaggy or bent in weird possitions. But once your dreads are dry it doesnt do anything.

They will come undone a little. I waited a quite awhile to wash the first time and I'm glad I did. My current profile pic was taken about a week or so after backcombing, check out some of my other ones to get an idea of how they will progress and change. It's very interesting. Greg McInulty said:

I did a lot of experementing with mine for the first few months. The first month they looked pretty good but then started locking up and getting loopy, I fixed these with beads. You are going to get loose hair and bumps no matter what. Your dreads are going to stand up and stick out in weird directions, they will shrink some. I used sea salt water in a spray bottle and only washed them once a week or sometimes a little less. But seriously bro, they are not going to look how you expected them to. No two sets of dreads look alike. Wear a hat or bandana when youre not in school. Palm rolling only works (in my opinion) when your dreads are damp like an hour or so after you wash them. Dr Bronners, which you can get just about anywhere (think health food stores) works good for making your dreads soft and not scratchy. The baking soda wash is really good for making your scalp feel clean. I hope this helps just try different things but in all reality just letting them do their own thing is the best advice. They will NOT look good until they dread and lock up on their own and the more you force it the worse they look, I know from experience.

but before we rename wax we should also look at how its used

wax should be applied near a dread not on the dread, if it touched the dread ofcorse it will build up, but we intended it to just by applied to the air around the dread so anyone that thought dread wax should go in a dread is just dumb
second weneed to look at the amount used since your applying it to air not hair it makes sense yo use only a few molicules at a time, on our site we show you how to measure the proper amount as compared to a hydrogen atom

ofcourse we also must look at the density of air odviosly if you live on a mountain your wannt to use less then if you live at sea level

now ive done alot of experiments including reversing time to see if wax remained in a dread before you put it there and found that wax was not pressent in any dread before the time it was put there



yea im being rediculouse but just shows u when u can redefine the question any way you want the answer doesnt need to make any sence if the question itself becomes flawed

Totally rediculous. I hate people who tip toe around the truth. It means they have a lot to hide or they know they are busted. come on anyone who has ever asked a kid what happened to the piece of candy on the counter knows that lol Island Mamma said:
