twist&rip or backcombing?

Dreading Methods

idk about most people, but it should hopefully be a one time thing, some people (just like backcombing) might see theirs come apart, others have it hole insanely well, just depends what your hair is like now and how long (yours looks good and long though) unless it all came apart I'd just let it be,sometimes even if the body comes apart early on, if the section stays you know it will lock up eventually easily. if it all came apart I would try again.

twist&rip or backcombing?

Dreading Methods

depends when one you more comfortable with, when i first tried T&R some peoples hair it did look alot more twisted then have that lock'd look to it, but when you get the hang of it they really look pretty good, backcombing seems more simple (always gonna be those small changes you can do with your backcombing tho)in the end when either method matures they will look like locks.

What about wearing a tam...is it possible to "over-wear" a tam (specifically baby dreadies)
think that'd be ok, you'd wanna make sure they are staying separated though if you wear it alot.*edit* oh and to contribute,,,: Kittens, they think your hair is a toy to play with at 4am -_-

How do dreads grow?

General Questions

I think the whole separating thing might affect them to, when you think about having to constantly pull them apart at the roots from sleeping on them and all that, cool to see how yours have come along man, looks cool

Dread Maintenance

I've gotten my glasses somehow caught on my front locks and broke off one of the pieces that rest on your nose from it and it pulled hair out, it's a pain in the butt but it'll be ok.

Cons of washing every day?

Dread Maintenance

other than making sure it gets a chance to dry and the fact that wet locks are annoying, not really much, whatever you find works best for you.
