Scalp Pain

Dreads Hair and Scalp Health

Hi, I was have tho issue too due to eczomatic psoriasis. This is what I tried (and it works):

1. In a spraying bottle, Ive put 1/10 Dr Bronner tea tree liquid soap.

2. Ive done an infusion of Chamomile, let it cool and put it in the spraying bottle (9/10). Chamomile is an anti-inflamatory.

3. I added 10 drops of peppermint and rosemary essential oils.

Thats all. I wash my head every 2 days with it, and now its ok. I wash every two days cause I leave in Mauritius and its summer, so really hot.

Hope it could help you :)

Friend thinks I should cut my hair, says they smell 'unpleasant'

Help! Save My Dreads

For mold, best is lavender mix with peppermint essential oils.

Help! Save My Dreads

Dreadlocks will not prevent you from having a job. I have dreads and I am a Head of Department. I suggest you to try for example Dr Bronner Peppermint of Teatree. When you wash, make sure to squeeze your dreads so that it wash well. Make such to rinse well too. If you want, I suggest you to mix in a spraying bottle full of water some essential oils that you can spray on your hair after washing them, and then occasionally. Lavender and peppermint are great for smells. This may help :)

Sorry, not hot, but warm :)

Interesting. Be careful. Hot oil can be scalding. And Olive oil's smoke point is low, so you don't want to over heat it

Ive found a good tip for dandruff, 2 hours before washing hair, apply hot olive oil on the dandruff, then wash. Really works. :)

i think its a lil more like 3 1/2 ..but im guesstimating based on the difference in size between a 3 liter soda bottle and a gallon of milk

gallons definately bigger by ..i guess 1/2 liter about but its fairly cli[ose so a lil off wont hurt
