Cool thanks, its just looking kinda funky with loose sections of hair but I kinda like it.
Im on week two of dreads and im really loving my dreadlocks. All I did was Twist N Rip and ive just let it go on its own and do whatever it wants. But some of them are coming completely loose and undone. I have very fine strait smooth hair and im wondering if its normal for some of them to come undone or what I can do if anything?
Im just a little concerned and looking for info, advice, anything
thats about the same length I have and I just started mine 2 weeks ago. Good luck, dreads are fun
I just started my dreads with no more than the twist and rip method and im going to just neglect it and let it do its thing from now on. But I was just wondering if I need to do anything as new hair grows in? I heard that I shouldseparatethem every once in a while but is that really it?
So Id like to first of all thank everyone here on this forum, I was planning on back combing then waxing at first then saw all the nice natural dread methods and results here. So now its no wax and just twist and rip once then all natural from then on out.
Day two
I palm rolled a bit to round them out
thanks everyone, I got some Dr bronners so ill be using that to wash. I think I will start a time line, thanks for the idea
So this is my first trying out dreadlocks, I made a new years resolution to do something new ive never done before at least once a month so thought this would be sweet.
Tips and advice is much appreciated, all I did was twist and rip a bit and im going to let the rest dread its self as it grows.
My hair is very much like yous, thin and strait, so its good to see yours turning out so well. Thanks for sharing
I started with 32 also, but now I have about 21 and the a bunch of small ones doing their own thing on the back of my head.
