nice mannnnnn
Hmm, figure I may as well one me one of these newfangled timeliney things.
It's been three (well four, but three since I took pics) days since I combed out my horrendous attempt at backcombing at joined the righteous path of nattyness. That's totally a word now.
The horrible backcombing attempt:

As you may have noticed I have pretty damn thin hair, so this may take some time. Also, my hair is nowhere near as greasy as those pics make it look, but cheap camera + dark room + flash photography is an unflattering combination to say the least.
Finally, here's a slice of some carrot cake I made earlier:

It's delicious
I've checked a few supermarkets and not found it. I don't think acv is common at all in the UK and was just wondering if this seems like a reasonable price or not. My options seem to be ordering acv online or just continuing to use malt vinegar.

Is that the right stuff? If so, is that a decent deal for the UK?
Why not just go natural from this very moment?
I spent a short time (a few hours lol) back combing then decided to simply allow nature to take it's course. Sometimes the journey is as important as the destination and you could well be ripping (pun intended) yourself off by taking short cuts.
Great idea
Gonna count today (18th of September) as day 1.

Make a candle and light it for your first dreadiversary!
Reckon that's what I'll be doing with the bar I ordered

Right behind you, Jake. You'll probably find it happens much easier than expected. Just keep off the beeswax. Lol! (It's good for making candles, though)
A lesson has been learned today.
Before taking my bath, I had a good look at my back-combed 'dreadlocks' and realised just how horrendously unnatural they looked. Some were trying to split into two, while others were at bizarre and forced angles. Many shampoos and conditionings later, I had the worst of it dealt with, but there were still a few troublesome knots that had to be chopped at the tips. I've probably set myself back a week, but it'll more than likely turn out for the best in the end.
From here on out I vow to be 100% natural with them. I'm certain there will be frustrations along the way, so I'm gonna rely on you lot to yell at me as and when my resolve weakens.
Peace
Oh crap, I thought you were on about that bremnons (sp?) shampoo stuff. My bad :/
I'm getting some baking soda on tuesday and guess I'll just have to wing it until then.
Can't use bs as I live in the UK and we apparently have hard water. I'm a vegetarian who generally lives off pasta and currys though, so I don't normally have much use for baking soda.
