Introduce Yourself
I haven't gotten all the wax out yet, but the bs/acv is making a huge improvement. I'll get the waxbgone soon. I didn't even consider dry time/width. I suppose I'll just keep them no bigger than an inch.

Hey everyone, I started my dreads just over four months ago. My last haircut was a fade, and I want the back and sides to be super fat locks, so right now only the top is dreaded. I started with wax and the dreadhead "kit." Don't do it. My hair has made more progress since I stopped using that crap than with it. Since starting my locks, I've grown spiritually and mentally. I guess that's about it for now.
Can't wait til mine get to that point
Damn. If I cried easily, I would be right now. The change started with inner peace for me. I said "I'm more peaceful than I was before I started dreads." My friend said "not really." I looked inside myself, and realized that's where the problem was. Now I'm trying very hard to control my actions, and more often than I'd like, I make mistakes. But, I hope not as often as before. The one true friend I have left in this area, has noticed a huge change. I even quit drinking. An alcoholic quitting cold turkey is nothing fun to be around. I suppose each strand of hair can be seen as everything coming together in unity. My dreads will tell me where to go next.
Thank you for this post. Now I see how much my dreads might shrink.
Those are some of the best locks I've seen! I'm at 9 months, part neglect, part twist and rip, part wax removal. I should post a few pics...
