Had to Comb Out Some Baby Dreads

Help! Save My Dreads

Hey everyone!

It's been difficult for me to separate my baby dreads from each other, especially the ones in the back! About six in the back were so stuck together, that after an hour of trying to separate them, I ended up using scissors to cut some out. I had no idea what I was doing, and clumps of my hair ended up falling out, but it isn't noticeable.
They were so formed together at the root, I ended up combing out most of my baby dreads in the back. I originally used twist and rip, and so my main question is:

Should I tnr the back again, or can I leave them to form on their own? I'm afraid that they'll swallow each other up again that way. I'm definitely going to be more diligent about separating everyday! Thank you

Namaste, sweet souls!

I was wondering if anyone could please share their experiences with hitchhiking, or life on the road in general?

I'm planning on travelling America with a friend next summer, and going to rainbow gatherings along the way. All on very little money, possibly a few hundred or so.
I'm a little nervous because of my social anxiety and awkwardness, but hope that the trip will help me connect with kindred spirits I know that I will have to get over this if I ever want to couchsurf or be apart of a work exchange.

Also, if you've hitchhiked, do you find that it's more difficult to get a ride with dreads?

Just a little update on how my baby dreads are looking! I used twist and rip, many are falling out and I'm just leaving them be Hoping I'm on the right track, thanks so much to all who have helped me.

Almost all of my hair is twist and ripped, except for the top layer. Each dread is extremely thin, my parents are so disgusted saying that they can't believe I'd do this to my "beautiful" hair. I'm freaking out a little, are these too thin? If not, does anyone have some sort of idea of when they're likely to thicken even a little bit? Thanks again!

Thanks so much everyone! I can't help but worry about how thin they are, since it seems like every youtube video and picture I see of 1-7 day old "dreads", they look so much thicker than mine.Most ofmine are thinner than pencils haha!I'm completely trusting you wonderful souls though

Well, I twist and ripped 5 sections, and now I'm worried that they're too thin, could you please tell me what you think? This is half of the bottom section, I tried making them nickel-sized, with one quarter-sized.
