Welcome to the community Meg and to the wonderful site of healthy dreading. Since you just started yesterday, if you don't want the super fat dreads, undo them. The best way for dreading, even if you want to do the twist & rip method, is to let your hair naturally separate into sections first. It will only take you a couple of weeks. During the waiting time you can learn all that you can from this site so you keep on a healthy journey.
