Thanks :-)

Just rub the bar on wet head, scalp only, no rubbing it on forming knots. When you rinse it out it will run through the sections, cleaning them. When locks are fully mature, then you can rub them on your locks too...Vickie from DreadlockShampoo is also a member on this site!...Peace

Help! Save My Dreads

Hello, Im from Germany (Karlsruhe) welcome here :-)

I can`t help you with the BC/ACV , because I just started my journey to get natural dreads but perhaps its about the water here in Germany. Sometimes there is al to of ?lime? or chalky in the water. Hope you understand what i mean....this white stuff, that`s here in the water - you see it in your water heater.

I use the hairtonic from weleda. Its absolut natural and you can get them in every DM market (you know them?) Its called "belebendes Haartonikum" and there is rosemary in.

This is not special for dandruff but its good for the scalp. And they have a dandruff shampoo too. Absolut natural and without smoother and silicons. Called Weizen-Schuppen-Schampoo and there is wheat in. The wheat you take for backing some bread ;-).

Perhaps you have actually too much stress? This can also be an reason for your dandruff problem.

Hope you understand my bad english.

Keep one - you and your hair look beautiful and breathe one deep breath <3

Hope it`s getting better soon.

Best wishes

Jule

Now what?

Dread Maintenance

Oh...i LOVE your comment SE :-) Really!

Ive been on this way for...mhm....2 or 3 Week? I don`t know exactly. I wake up one morning and think: o.k. Im on the way - let start the journey. Te only thing I known was: THIS is my deeply wish - becoming natural dreads - and I love even the spiritual background (for me).

Today I Thougt: "Damm...I forgot to notice when I started"...and my next thought was: "hey, its o.k. and it doesen`t mind anything for me. My journey started and this is the real important thing ;-).

Now I washed my hair 3 or 4 times, have yesterday my first Henna coloring (whoah...this was heavy ;-)) and my first little seperation (my underwoolhair ;-)) and very happy. Know they look very messy but I love it :-)

Jessica: they look great and sorry for my bad english- I, from gemany :-)

Good luck for your journey

Dreading Methods

Thanks a lot Baba Fats and Sunflower. I`m very excited about my way with the dreads. Hope I can ask my questions with my bad english or write some PN`s if this works for you.

Tomorrow i wash my hair the first time without combing half an hour after ;-) My husband is very interested too, how this looks and work.

Soon I make some pictures and show you.

Sunflower: I live near Karlsruhe in the Black Forrest - 600km away from Berlin. I`ve got some Friends in Berlin. Its such al nice City and very cool for living there :-)

Dreading Methods

Hi,

I write a few weeks ago my first Post here - Im new on my way to natural dreads and Im from germany and my english is worth.

I understand a lot "normal stuff" but all the special things we don`t learned the vocabular in school (btw: hehe this were very funny ;-))

So I need some help for understanding and Ive got a lot of questions and can`t write it in english in the way YOU can understand it, I think.

So, is anybody here, who can help me or its there any good german natural dreads site? I haven`t found one - this is the best here :-)

One of my question is:

I couloured my hair with natural henna - for a nice read head. Can I carry on? Or does this not work? Because natural Henna is like sand and I don`t know how to get this stuff out of my dreads hair?

My hair is very long (near my hips) - and I often have a kind of braid - if I started to dread, I had to wear my hair "openly" and what to do in the night?

Mhm....hope you understand my

thanks :-)

Jule

Introduce Yourself

Hello :-)

Im Jule and from Germany. Sorry, my english writing is very bad (schooltime is long ago ;-)) but I understand most. Hope you understand me... .

I`m a mother of 5 children age: 22, 19, 16, 13, 2 years.

My latest pregnancy was a kind of transition for me and I became a deeper understanding in many things - hard to explain here... .
I also work as a Doula (if you don`t know wtf is it...please search in the www. It`s also simular in Engish) and this work is more than work. It`s my appointment and love. I love to support women and men became parents and I love the holy and sacred moment when a newborn come in our world.

So, Im so glad to be here and for the first time in life Ive got a feeling like "beeing home" in some forum or webspace. Its very strange - looking for some stuff for my kids Im "landing" on you tube and find some videos from soaring eagle and so: here I am.

I can`t explain why I`m now on the way to have dreads. Since a long time (about 25 years?) I feel like I needed them. Perhaps it`s now the answer or the right thing to do because I became more and more spiritual? Im on the search for my oldest roots- the celtics and druids and I thinks this can give me a kind of connection to the past?! Hard to explain - in english... ;-).

But blabla....the important thing(k) is: Its feel all right.

Thanks for listening
