stop counting days..stop counting weeks..hell stop counting guesstimate months by season changes
if u know u started in spring then md to late summer check for progress..and again in late fall and again when you have icycles hanging from the ends
just forget time exoists..
go on living
dont forget to breathe its good for your health
let your mind wander
explore the edges of insanity
take a trip on the wild side
spell things in new crative ways
write a poem without using a single real word from any language
write a wiki page about your cat
learn the lost art of mummification
when youve done all that you will have great dreads
Hehe
Oh...i LOVE your comment SE Really!
Ive been on this way for...mhm....2 or 3 Week? I don`t know exactly. I wake up one morning and think: o.k. Im on the way - let start the journey. Te only thing I known was: THIS is my deeply wish - becoming natural dreads - and I love even the spiritual background (for me).
Today I Thougt: "Damm...I forgot to notice when I started"...and my next thought was: "hey, its o.k. and it doesen`t mind anything for me. My journey started and this is the real important thing .
Now I washed my hair 3 or 4 times, have yesterday my first Henna coloring (whoah...this was heavy ) and my first little seperation (my underwoolhair ) and very happy. Know they look very messy but I love it
Jessica: they look great and sorry for my bad english- I, from gemany
Good luck for your journey
Hi Jessica, and welcome to your wonderful journey and the ride you have begun. If you clean and separate any sections trying to join together to form a huge dread, then you are done with the care part. There is really nothing else you need to do. You can knit yourself a tam while waiting for the wild things to happen. Just chill and envision you hair 3 years from now, every experience you will go through will give you the most love you have ever had for your hair. In three years from now, when you look at your beautiful mature dreads, you will look back and say what a ride that was. ....Peace
