can anybody reccomend a good residue free shampoo to use to help my hair start to lock up? p.s i'm in the uk so may not be able to get hold of soem american products...cheers

i live in the uk too and i went in to our local health food shop today and asked and they had some that looked quite good and not at silly prices either. :) x

Try 'The Body Shop'.That seems like the most likely place it'll be found and the only big store I can think of that is likely to have it.It's either them, Boots, or something big but not common like Harrods or some shite.Let me know what you find, dude. soaringeagle said:

tbh for the best price it'll most likely be your independent health food shops rather than the big high street guys (i love the body shop but it's v expensive) and you'll have that good i supported a local business feeling :) please tell us your findings tho it will be good to know what other brands are good for dreads :) x

hey the best soap ive found is from 'lush', its from their soap bar range....the best ive found is 'squeeky green', makes ya locs feel and smell amazin, and very economical too, 1 bar lasted about 3 months and for under a fiver .....cant be bad :)

oh yeah should've thought of lush, all the soaps in there look and smell good enough to eat.cheers guys ill try a few out

I love lush, they had a job vacancy a while ago at the one in York and when I asked about how to apply they told me to submit a hand written CV and make it looks as pretty and creative as possible, they even told me the content wasn't that important they mostly wanted to see what people produced.
