The dreading times

Hmm, figure I may as well one me one of these newfangled timeliney things.

It's been three (well four, but three since I took pics) days since I combed out my horrendous attempt at backcombing at joined the righteous path of nattyness. That's totally a word now.

As you may have noticed I have pretty damn thin hair, so this may take some time. Also, my hair is nowhere near as greasy as those pics make it look, but cheap camera + dark room + flash photography is an unflattering combination to say the least.

Just washed for the second time with bs and malt vinegar and am absolutely loving the feel of my hair and the way it's separating itself. The best way I can describe the texture would be somewhere between really soft straw, cotton wool and feathers. Either way, it feels and looks healthier than it has done in literally years. It seems to change on an hourly basis and I'm absolutely thrilled by even the smallest signs of initial progress.

It feels great to finally be doing this properly now

My hair had just dried after being washed with bs and malt vinegar when these were taken. I'm thinking of skipping the vinegar for at least the next few washes, as it seems to make my hair far too soft and I'm missing a few knots that were there prior to washing them. Anyway, slight amounts of progress are visible, so all is well

oh hell yea its gonna dread fast u got bavbies started this next wek they might bcome actujal baby dreads and be great by a month thats some good progress for 7 days so um how were u doing the acv?
