opinions on blunted tips?

I've heard you can blunt the ends by taking them like a paintbrush and rubbing the tips around in your palms. Dunno if it would work without product, though. Mine haven't done much yet but personally I like em wispy!

I normally have super curly hair, and a bunch of mine blunted on their own. When I first started out I liked the blunted look better, but now I actually enjoy the ends of mine going into little ringlet curls or being wispy. I think it looks cuter and softer!
