Amen to that! Fox news is a joke! I can't watch 5 minutes without hearing lie after flat-out-lies. Whatever happened to honesty, love, and doing what's best for the people? I also find it ironic that they are so fierce against gay marriage to the point of rejoicing when gay teens commit suicide - acting like they are not even humans. Yet why are so many of them caught in gay affairs and molesting little boys??? These are the people stealing the conservative vote? Why?

I'm gonna stop there. I get riled up about republican dishonesty so much because I know so many people who are caught in the Rush Limbough and Fox News web of lies... I used to be one of them when I pretended like I didn't care about politics yet was being swayed without even knowing it. I felt really dumb 2 years ago when I started checking the facts and realizing how much I've been duped in my life! So I get a little fired up.

It's interesting that is all was gotten from what I said...

that I was complaining my car was too old. Or...that a person is now paying for health insurance.

I wasn't complaining...I was saying when changes happen like that...when you don't HAVE any money...what happens?!

The rest of what you said...sounded like a bunch of words strung together...that...my eyes fuzzed out as I tried reading them.

I'm a single mom. Yes...this means I'm on Government assistance. I am SO thankful for this.

HOWEVER! I have been working since I was 16...paying into this...I am 29 now...and my baby just turned 6 months...I have ALWAYS had a job since then. That means I have been paying taxes you see...

I went to college...I have a bachelors degree. You know what...that means nothing right now...and I get sick of people telling me to suck it up. I still make minimum wage...

I pay out my ass in student loan debt...

I can't afford to buy a car right now...which would create access to a better job for me.

Do you see where I'm going with this? or...will you just pull out some other quip?

I don't feel guilty for using gov asst right now. It's not like I'm going to be a lifetime "charity" case you some like to call it.

It's a helping hand until I am able to FINALLY get to where I need to go. But...when you don't make much money...saving is a SLOW and long process...then...if something comes up...an emergency...

oops...all my savings for a car or whatever....gone...sorry...you start over. "Go straight to broke...don't pass Go...do not collect 200 dollars."

It's amazing that people want to turn a blind eye to poverty...and take it as complaints.

Yeah...it sucks. But...SOMETHING needs to be done about it...and hell if it's going to be a president who doesn't care about 47% of the country he's supposed to run!

Star: *hug* Not everyone feels that way, I promise. I feel for you. Life doesn't throw all of us into a cozy comfy situation. My close friend lived in a quarter-million dollar home, but lost his job when the economy went to crap and then his wife left him taking the rest of his money and home and car. It wasn't his fault. It's easy for those who've never had life slap them in the face and struggle to eat and survive and provide (like Romney) to say that those who have little are just "complaining". I remember seeing this guy taking pictures of homeless people laughing and he thought it was funny to be homeless. But the truth is, anyone can become homeless in an instant on takes is a big storm fire a bank going under getting robbed any number of tragedies or circumstances going differently than you had planned. It happens every day to people the matter what your circumstances.

In a society that caters just to the rich and ignores the poor. It's all a matter of time before the rich become poor too, as the rich get richer. The only semi-rich become poor and can't afford their own home. The can be a day when you can't get a house under $1 million and that even the rich will become homeless.

And nobody can predict what will happen when when medical emergency comes up when you take away all the medical insurance have to pay 500,000 out-of-pocket for an operation or end up dead you choose either your home or your life.

We blame the poor for being poor, but do we think nothing but the ballplayers getting paid $20 million for playing a game, but then a single father works his entire life in a call mind for minimum wage, and loses house when the minds goes under. We blame them for being poor.

It's a sick society that allows its members to suffer and don't try to help them.

The sick society that values the life more based on how much little green slips paper the of accumulated hoarded collected and kept out of the hands of those who could really use them
