Hair looks like a rat's nest

Oh I bet you're right! It probably is just the straight hair feeling thinner. If it were the matter of the sections thinning out, what exactly does that mean, and how would you fix it?

It usually means hairs got pulled out of the scalp. If so, there is probably a little too much torque on your scalp. But it would usually hurt a bit. You'd also see more stray hairs at the roots than normal. I'd leave it alone for a few months. See if it stays thin. If it doesn't get any thinner, you're fine. If it keeps getting thinner, you can take some hemp or embroidery thread and wrap the loose hair, growing in, to the lock. In a month or so, that will make a nice big knot at the root and bolster it up.

its normaly caused by excessive maintenance like twisting or interlocking root rubbing etc

so in most cases just stoppinjg those foxes o]=it in sevre cases massage oils vitamins etvc keepijng tension off the roots for many months..

stuff like that
