HELP! I came in contact with lice

Yeah, its not nice here. But she does need help. There all pieces of shit. Im living here right now, but when I get out I am thinking of calling someone. Or alteast telling the school to check in and keep and eye. Something. I wasnt thinking she was getting treated for lice because it was like she just kept stayin home from school, but then today I saw a treatment kit so I assuuming there treating her now? Still... too long.

Sounds like neglect to me I think you need to contact someone to make sure she gets the attention she needs. That's really sad.I mean I'm the last one to advocate calling the authorities, I prefer to handle my issues myself but when it comes to a child in harms way you gotta step in and see that she gets some help.

I dont think they care she has lice... no one seemed to mind. Im just not trying to get lice....And what am i at risk for...?

yhup - i think the story of neglect is the higher priority issue here.how old is this girl anyways.wtf is going on. it is not difficult to keep a body clean and sanitary.constant infestation is not cool and i don't understand...you dont even have lice.can you imagine being a little kid and constantly having them????????

and honestly - if we're gonna imagine about legal ramifications - who do you think people in court would blame for bringin lice in the house?prolly the dreadheaded hippy.you know?it sucks man.i wouldn't wanna be there either - and i hate the thought of bugs.but, i think i would focus my energy on getting rid of the lice on the little girl...you dont seem to have them yet, so you arent really safe until the little girl is safe, yah??makes sense, right??

Im not even 18... What is there that I could even possibly do? No one even TOLD me she had lice. I got called down to the nurse at school and she told me she had to check me because she got sent home with it. Im positive there being treated now. Theres a lice removal kit sitting in the bathroom and whole bunch of combs too... So hopefully this is done with atleast soon. I dont know what to possibly do.. I do feel bad for the girl. I really do. Its not like im a bitch to her or anything. I come home from work and say hi and what not. But to be honest im scared right now to be around her. She needs someone to talk to, a good role model. And after all this is put aside I hope maybe i can help her? I mean atleast give her a friend. She's already on the wrong path here.

She gets fed for sure I know that haha. They usually have to make her seperate meals cause shes really picky... I mean I wanna help.
