Washing with Tea Tree Oil?

Dreads Hair and Scalp Health

hahahahahah, my parents are totally cool with it. My mom took me to get dread wax and shit (before I knew that wasnt good) and my dad was like "If I wasnt almost 40 I so would" But the grandparents and older people arent so openminded about it lol. But thanks so much!

Hahaha I know how that is. I had pics done to send back to my parents (who aren't thrilled about the dreads) and needed them to be a little more polished. (-:

I burn SUPER easily (pale skin, red hair) so I always have just plain old Aloe Vera gel around. So yep, that's what you use. Just make sure it's just the Aloe Vera gel, no extra chemicals.

Washing with Tea Tree Oil?

Dreads Hair and Scalp Health

hahahaha i cant not care about that for senoir picture. I wouldnt but the last family get together my grandmothers were ranting about how I look like a ho bo LOL! Otherwise I wouldnt care. Can you get just aloe at like walmart? Cause I only now about aloe VERA which is used for sun burn? Or is it the same thing? hahah

I know this is probably to late for your senior pics, but when I have photo shoots where I'm concerned about frizzy hair I've used a tiny bit of aloe on each dread and palm roll them smooth. It washes out easily and keeps new dreads from being to frizzy. Other options for pics include wearing a hat, having a photog who's good at photo shop, or, and the one I use most often, just don't care. hahaha (-:

HELP! I came in contact with lice

Dreads Hair and Scalp Health

She 14 I think? And her mom is living here along with her 20 year old brother. And there all pieces of shit. Her father is a major pill popper and her mom left him. So I mean I guess there TRYING to make changes? Slowly? I mean I have no clue. Its all drama. Im living here with my dad and his I think ex girlfriend now? and there 2 kids. But these people just loved in. But since my dad and her just broke up were like trying to find somewhere to go. I been thinking about calling anonymously when I leave. But since I've already been in the system and there is already a bunch of drama with me and my family about that, im afraid if I did everyone would look at me, which im nearly positive they would.

HELP! I came in contact with lice

Dreads Hair and Scalp Health

Im not even 18... What is there that I could even possibly do? No one even TOLD me she had lice. I got called down to the nurse at school and she told me she had to check me because she got sent home with it. Im positive there being treated now. Theres a lice removal kit sitting in the bathroom and whole bunch of combs too... So hopefully this is done with atleast soon. I dont know what to possibly do.. I do feel bad for the girl. I really do. Its not like im a bitch to her or anything. I come home from work and say hi and what not. But to be honest im scared right now to be around her. She needs someone to talk to, a good role model. And after all this is put aside I hope maybe i can help her? I mean atleast give her a friend. She's already on the wrong path here.

ummm you're at risk of being blamed for not lifting a finger to help a little girl that obviously has nobody to give a shit about her. Yes you can be held liable in a court of law for not trying to get her any help

shouldnt someone be taking care of her?do u think she needs to be somewhere else to get proper care?
it cant be good to be there with ppl afriad to talk to her or touch her
and if its your home i dunno u might be at risk if shes staying with u being neglected

HELP! I came in contact with lice

Dreads Hair and Scalp Health

Yeah, its not nice here. But she does need help. There all pieces of shit. Im living here right now, but when I get out I am thinking of calling someone. Or alteast telling the school to check in and keep and eye. Something. I wasnt thinking she was getting treated for lice because it was like she just kept stayin home from school, but then today I saw a treatment kit so I assuuming there treating her now? Still... too long.

NaturalWomyn said:
yea this poor little girl is obviously not being properly cared for. Who's responsibility is she and why aren't they doing anything for her? Sounds like neglect to me I think you need to contact someone to make sure she gets the attention she needs. That's really sad.I mean I'm the last one to advocate calling the authorities, I prefer to handle my issues myself but when it comes to a child in harms way you gotta step in and see that she gets some help.
