Hey everybody i backcombed my dreads about two weeks ago and since i did it by myself, the back was sorta crappy and the lower part has since just fallen apart. I'm thinking about just letting that part go neglect, as my hair is real curly and tangles easily. Is it okay to have most backcombed and just a part neglect, or should i comb the back out and try to find someone to do it for me?
No need at all to redo it. just go neglect as the back sections will find their own way. Just keep seperating back there. I backcombed all of my hair and the majority of it did fall out. Im a year in now and still have undreaded bits but thats ok as they are growing into their own dreads, i'm sure their find their way eventually. Good luck with your journey. And whenever you are retempted to back-comb. Dont as it will put you right back to square one!
