Okay, so I wanna get some dread beads but I have no clue the width of my dreads and not exactly sure how to find it. Can someone help me?

In most cases it's all about trial and error. Find a bead and put it on a dreadlock. If the bead falls off easily the bead is too big for that particular dreadlock.
Personally speaking, unless I use seed/peyote stitch beads my dreadlocks are too thin for the majority of beads that can be found.

I got a packet of various sized wooden beads from Hobby Lobby. The smallest ones that are oval shaped fit mine the best and feel the most comfortable to sleep on. I thought I'd need bigger, but the larger ones fell off easily. That would be an inexpensive way to see what works for you.
