Twist and Rip THEN neglect ?

Okaay , I just got my dreadlocks yesterday , and i had a talented friend do them using the twist and rip meathod , but to me , they are looking too neat and tidy ,

Is this just because they are new?
Could i use the neglect meathod to get them to get a more messy, natural look?

or

How should i approach achieveing messy dreadlocks?

why do you want them to look more messy?

I am sure you will get some loose hairs here and there in a few weeks?

I guess the grass is always greener. I would love for mine to look a little less messy :)

Hey!

In a month or two they totally will look different, that's for sure. Even after your first wash you will

notice a bit of difference.

Finding the look of hair messy or not is just a personal sight of view. If you like your hair the way it is and

proceeds you might not have the feeling it is messy, even if others do so.

Just let it happen, however it looks :-)

I did the tnr method too and they will get much more messier in the next couple of months, they will get loose and frizzy and eventually tighten up and mature but it takes atleast a year for that but you will always have loose hair and if you dont touch them or mess with them a lot they will get that nice messy look :)
