The dreads on the back of my head look like they have almost un dreaded completely. Will they re dread on their own or is there something I should do to them?

yes, they do that, at least mine did'] I started with short hair too and I'm doing great at almost 5 months. Let your hair choose the sections...TnR gives it a good start, I think 'cause it "roughs it up" and they lock better. God Bless your journey from Nancy, your neighbor across the river']

they will do that but then dread right back up
its totaly normal
this is where the dread wax scam comes in your afraid i]of them falling apart so glue em together
ofcorse then it takes longer to dread then if u just leave em alone but it gets u past that fear stage where u think its all going to come undone and never dread
most ppl with dreads had that happen
hell not so long ago almost everyone with draeads just let dreads happen so there was nothing to fall apart it just happened
so remember
if ppl can dread by doing nothing then it doesnt matter if the something u did do came undone cause u never had to do it in the 1st place and it still will dread
your fine its just how things happen sometimes
