Breakage

My dreads are fat and then get really narrow and fat again and they keep on breaking off! I am getting a little worried and i dont know what to do!

Where are they breaking? at the root, the middle or the ends? Is the whole dread breaking off? Post a picture..it will help. Are your dreads thinning and getting weak or are they dry and brittle? Do you keep them pulled back all the time?

how were they started and maintasined what have u done to them

thin spots happen sometimes they break ting a knot to fix it can seem to fix it for awhjile but that only weakens them more and they are almost guaranteed to break

maybe the i=onlt thig u can do is kinda pust it up doubling ovr the thin part and wrap it till i6t dreads..maybe im not even sure..

I dont have a camera that works right now. but they are breaking off at the tips. I had my friend put them in (tease and roll). I dont keep them pulled back all the time (I try and alternate between up and down every few days and they arent dry and brittle some of them just break off. Could it be that I play with them 24/7?

BUT ITS SO DIFFICULT NOT TO! haha. anyway i can prevent doing that. and its to hot to wehre a hat.
