Loops are amazing. I have this big guy right next to my ear right now.
pretty hard to unlock them, but everyone looks good with them. also badass mudvayne poster
all i can say to help you is to wear beads, even if you do not have knots where you are putting them. iguarantee if you put one on and leave it for a month, when you take it off you will have knots above and underneath it. might inspire a little faith in the locking process. sure has for me.
twist and rip does barely anything, take the advice from a person who did it. they will just fall out (most of them). start using the baking soda wash (BS wash), recipe and way to use and wash out are on the site.. somewhere. beads will knot hair and they will keep it together. salt water sprays are good and so are sleeping on wool pillowcases.
if beads will act the way they do in my hair in yours then they willdefinitelyhelp. my beads are really tight too. the two "dreads" i put together first wound around each other in the bead by themselves in about a week. in.. more than a month they had completely combined to the point where you couldnt even tell it was two dreads once

I hope this works for a few of my problematic dreads.
so i put a bead on two small sections of small semi knotted hair to combine them. the bead was really tight on it. i forgot about it and about a month later it had knotted all the way up to the root into one really bumpy wavy dreadlock. same thing with a few others. my point being ive only had 1 dreadlock that has had the same result that has never had a single thing on it. most of my hair is sectioned by knots but not very many knots.
besides a few dreadlocks it seems like the only ones that mature are the ones i put beads on. is this the case for anyone else?
i actually followed what you said and i smudged my dreadlocks with some sage my mom gave me. thanks for the idea man.
