I like going to the gym and working out, and I sweat a lotand was wondering will that make my transition ofgetting dreads difficult? Is it best for me to stop workingout in the begining stages of dreading?

From what I've read, and what people have told me is that the sweat is good for your hair, sweat is essentially salt water, exactly like the ocean, and they say ocean water speeds up the locking process, so you're in the green. (I'm a runner, and I run with dreads, it seems to make em stick together easier)

No way, working out is always great! I'm a dancer and I work out for hours at a time sometimes, til I'm very sweaty. All is good.

Like everyone here said. Working out is perfectly fine. The salt water will even help the locking process. But you should make sure that you keep up with your hair washing schedule. If you leave that salt water in too long it can really itch. Best to wash your hair when you shower after working out
