Not sure what to think about my dreads, don't think they fit well : (

I did all my back dreads about 4 months ago and the 4 front ones a week ago. I don't know if they look good or bad, but personally I don't think they work very well for me and im thinking of shaving it all off, but I might be a little paranoid concerning this : ( There have been people that say they look alright and others that say they don't.

I wonder if reddit could give me an honest opinion , good or bad, i just wish for an honest opinion if you could help me, thank you!

they are fine

how did you "do them' your page says neglect but sounds like you did tnr

ignore people

people think your only doing it right if they are waxy or damaged and instantly look like dreads.. your on the right path and they are just babies

you dont tell someone "your childs all wrong he looks deformed you should put him out of his mnisery"

cause he looks like this

not this

at just 2 weeks old

we all faced critisism

people who knew nothing about dreads telling us we were doing them wrong

but then a year or 2 later they will rave about how awesome yoirs look

just let them grow up to be awesome mature locks on thier own

I like yours man. The ones in the back are pretty gnarly. They look good on you. I say keep them. But only you can decide.

I wash them about 3 times a week but only use shampoo twice. I think i should be using some kind of baking soda instead of regular shampoo : ( When I'm washing, I focus the shampoo more on the roots instead of the dreads themselves.

I usually dry them up pretty nicely. If I'm not going out after showering, I usually open the windows on my bedroom and constantly shake them up and use a towel, until they're dry. I don't have problems with smell or anything like that

Oh my god your dreads are beautiful. Why did you think of that?
If you see my dreads they are very messy . However, I really love them.

A lot of people ask me if I wash my hair or you should cut it because it looks like a crap.

But I believe in my hair and I believe myself. You should love your dreads:)

My hair looked so crazy for a year or so. It was really an ugly mess. The reason you don't see a lot of long locks is because people give up so quickly. Dreads take time and patience. People want the instant look of mature dreads...but that just doesn't happen. Don't be one of those people that give up. Just let them mature. Don't worry about what other people think.
