"Shrinkage is part of the dread journey. Give it some time and you'll gain some length once they're done shrinking.😊"

"Have you been separating them from the start? I separate a little but every day, and I do ALL OF THEM after every single wash while my hair is still wet...."

@Soaring-Eagle I just read the whole post on traction alopecia... and oh my.😱 I was confused initially why you said twisting causes baldness. I don't even think I can call what I do twisting now. Really I just separate them and... idk turn and smooth them down a bit? I'm certainly not twisting them to my roots, thank goodness! My hair is naturally very thick and I would like it to stay that way. After seeing some of those pictures I think I'll just leave them alone after a wash. I'm taking no chances.😂

welcome but do oot use a crochet hook your only breaking hairs creating way more loose hairs  and 1 use if tight delays any dreading by 6 months and then takes 3 years to recover ..dont twist either that causes balding

throw the crichet hook in the trash itspure dread abuse
