Welcome Ana to this wonderful site. Everything you need to learn can be found in the dreaducation section at the top of the site. I also did T&R. That is a blueprint of where your dreads will be. They will change in appearance, loop, loosen, get frizzy and shrink. All this is normal, so don't worry when things look different, that just means they started the journey. Peace

Welcome. If you only used crocheting once to start, it's not the end of the world. You'll definitely need about 6 months to recover from it before you see any progress. Crocheting, even once, delays progress. if you keep doing it over and over, crocheting will completely destroy your locks. All it does is rips your hair to shreds. This weakens your locksimmensely. They can even snap off in places, and even at the root leaving a bald spot if you keep it up

Welcome Sana. Please read the info on this site about crocheting dreads. It is the worst thing you can do to your hair as it breaks it all into small little pieces. One day your dreads may break off in your hands. Please don't crochet them again in hopes that they will get strong for you if you want your dreads for years to come. If you just want them for a year or two, then thats how long they will last if you still crochet.

If you have any questions, feel free to post it on here and many will help you. Peace
