Welcome. Crocheting the tips isn't nearly as bad as crocheting the whole lock for maintenance. But it still does some damage to your tips.
As for palm rolling. Don't bother. If you don't do it often, it doesn't do anything. No lasting knots are created. If you do it often enough to see progress, it will do severe damage to your locks. Sometimes it can beirreversible. I have a video on my page of what only 2 weeks of palm rolling every day can do. 6 years later I am still trying to fix the damage
welcome wouldnt bother with crochet..or extentions in fact theres nbeen news stories of ppl being mugged in other countries theiy were knocked out and heads shaved the dreads stollen to be sold on the black market for extentions
