So about a month ago I was at the craft store and picked up the standard 5 dollar bag of black,tan, brown beads. Boring- So i got to thinking what can I do to make them better..
I went to the dollar store and bought the fine line nail art polish and added some detail, so much better, but I still neede more... So then I thought ' why not get your bestest people to design for you'
I got a few small boxes and mailed a few beads/polishto friends out of state and country. With a short note asking them to design my bead.
Today I got my first 2 back- andI have to say im so glad I did this.. I have one of a kind beads made designed by people I love and they look great!
Also had my grandkids make a few too.
Will post pictures once I get a few more back.
My question is other than the obvious, dirt, flakes, lice, mold etc. How long can you go without washing your dreads?
. For me personality the longer I go without washing the better my hair seems to dread, My hair is not to dry or to oily, I dont have any itch, everything seems to be just dandy. I am only 3 months into dreading but for me it seems like when I wash BS/ACVI get all the frizzys and it dont look as I would like it to, I have not washed in over 2 weeks and I love it, and prior to the 2 weeks I went 2 weeks before and I hated washing for all the frizz etc.
In shower it gets alittle damp with bathing but other than that, I use nothing. and it seems to work well for me. Of course if I would start having dirty issues I would wash. But I was just wondering if going a month or morewithout washing will itharm the dreads.. Thanks for responces in advance- Kelle
