what did the salon dreads entail as far as methods and maintenance ..and..define..fell out.. u mean came apart at 8 months or..fell off from over working?

reminds me of 1 girl who backcombed and palm rolled hers daily for over a year
then 1 week after stopping that had more progres thebn the entire year of trying to force it

Well the salon just backcombed my hair then stuck elastics on the tops and bottoms of each one. she told me to leave them on for 3 weeks but i took them off after 4 days cause it was pulling my hair out.
By fell out i mean they never stayed together, even after almost a year it was likeI had unknotted hair... it was weird. Also they thinned quite a bit at the roots and 2 actually fell off. But over working them slowed the knotting almost to a complete stop i guess. now that im letting my hair do its thing they are actually getting somewhere.
