Welcome. Have you checked out the dreaducation page yet? It's chock full of great info.

Any idea on how you'd like to start? No matter what you decide, remember that wax belongs on cars, not in your hair. It causes locks to rot from the inside out. And crocheting is the most damaging thing you can do to locks.

Welcome. Back combing isn't a bad method to start so long as you didn't use wax. It's more damaging than TnR, but many have used it and love how their locks turned out

Welcome to the community. Did you wax up your dreads? If you did, you need to remove it immediately. Wax b gone works well, but dish detergent and hot water will also work, but will take more treatments.
