after u wash with a dreads shampoo or balking soda anddont comb it will start to section itself within a week or so then soon after start to knot up then get loopy and crazy then start to shrink and tighten
Welcome. There's nothing you need to do now but wash wash wash. Get a good non residue soap, and you're set. Wash 2-3 times a week, and they will lock up sooner than you may think.
oh and do not ever go near anyone rthat claimsto do dreads professionaly ..worse mistake u can make that sl[kye person will charge u a ton of money and screw u up badly
i have a freind intulsa yes but let me tell ya how she dreaded
for months she asked everyone she could to help her dread
then we went to a rainbow gathering and again she asked hundreds of ppl to help her dread
2 weeks went by nobody helped her..but ..she had dreads..
only 5 or 6 at 1st but that was only 2 weeks and washing it twice without combing
then she got ppl to help her each 1 did 1 dread not any 2 dids the same thing grandpa woodstock do]id the woodstock rock and roll method rubbed 2 rocjes on her hair then rolled it another twisted it into a ball then boined it oit straight another twirled it ri[oud a stick etc etc
