my hair is coarse kinky str8 so for me it was jus a sticky mess look grab not 1 but 2 dreads wet them twist them tight not so tight that they curl and put a rubber band around them try not to let them unravel when doin this take the band off and see if u like how it looks I twist with stuff call Cholesterol with olive oil found it at the cvs and dollar store and it works the best with my hair it makes the hair easier to work with and its almost cream like so its not oily or sticky hope this helps
