srry dont know what was going wrong with my chat but what i was trying to say is the stiffness is definately the crochet thats 1 iof the clear signs i mean you can see the stiffness
mines very thick too my dreads are super soft and flowing as u cah see here
the only other cause of stigffness would be wax or heavy buildup
in some cases extreme dryness can cause stiffnes in spots but typicaly thats only spots not the whiole dread and u can feel how over dry it is
Welcome. There's no method you really need. Neglect is the healthiest, but if you want to give them a jump start, you can TnR them into sections

welcome but crochets extremely extremely bad fir dreads palm rollings harmful and pointless but cri=ochets 1 of the worse things u vcan do tyo them
i hope u only crochetted once
