Loving myself, loving my hair!
It's been over 3 months now since I decided to stop brushing.
I've told a few people, and I'm kind of waiting for the rest to notice... how long before they ask, I wonder. There's no way that no one has noticed that I'm not brushing my hair anymore. It just looks different... to me, it's stark, but then I have to remember that I am working with some seriously unobservant men.
Loving yourself, loving your hair. Dreads take us on an amazing journey. We learn to love everyone, to respect them, growing dreads also grows something within us. Just wait until you get the full experience.....peace
Oh wow, that is HUGE progress. People haven't noticed? Ha, wow. Then again, I find that with a lot of people, if your dreads aren't stereotypical uniform ones, and they have loops, bumps, undreaded tips, etc., then some people don't understand that they're dreads lol.
