Welcome. Rinsing daily isn't the best idea. Locks take a long time to dry. Even if they feel dry to the touch, they could still be damp inside. They need time to dry out 100% before you get them wet again. I wouldn't get the wet more than every other day, or you run the risk of the growing mold and rotting inside

How often did you use wax and crochet? If you interlocked more than 2 days ago, undoing it will probably cause more damage than help. That, you'll have to leave and accept. Just never do it again
