Sounds good. Some people really do feel like they should wait a long time to wash. That's what I was worried about. For my first set, I was told to not wash for 2 months. They used wax and 1/2 my hair rotted off

Welcome. Locks should be washed 2-3 times a week. Don't wait until it gets grimy. If it feels itchy, wash it. If you feel like you want to, wash it. If you haven't washed in 3 days, wash it.

Welcome. But even occasional crocheting does extreme damage. 1 session can delay progress by up to 6 months.

I know that the desire to try and clean up your locks can be overwhelming. But crocheting isn't the answer. It is them topmost damaging thing that can be done to locks. All it really does it takes those frizzy hairs and snaps them and other hairs into smaller and smaller pieces, which sucks them in for a short time, but when they get frizzy, there are more hairs to stick out. Crocheting overtightens your locks, making them hard, too. Mature locks need to be soft and spongy.
