rubber bands melt into the dreads and rot inside u dont want anything holding then together u want them to be clean with no gunk and free to move

Yep definitely. Honestly, I was a little nervous doing mine myself but I'm glad I did. You'll appreciate them way more, you can wash them regularly and select scents to suit you. There is so much misinformation & opinions about dreads out there but they truly are a beautiful natural individual thing and once you get em sorted you'll enjoy every single one of them.

u have a choice wax thats sticky stiff and dirty causes them to rot and be cut or no wax u look alil fuzzy for a lil while then they just look good do mine look mangy? wax traps dirt and water u cant ever get them clean they start to stink and rot wax cause almost all wax dreads to be cut its evil yea u should start over right

omg bro so glad u joined us you were screwed call that salo9n tel them they should never use wax and twists are only for african hair and rubber bands never belong in dreads im sorry dude but u need to get that wax o9ut hairspray is bad idea too and u need to start over4 either natural or twist and rip but twisted waxy messes will never dread in white ppl hairso glad u joined us lets get u fixed up
