Welcome. If your hair isn't naturally oil, you need to do an ACV rinse after you wash with BS. BS will raise your pH level to the basic range, which will dry out your hair and make it brittle. It can also make your scalp itch something fierce. ACV will bring it back to a normal range

Welcome. Congrats on your new dreads. You chose the least damaging method, next to natural. Remember, it is OK if they fall out. They will lock back up by themselves. Never redo a starter method, as it just puts you back to square one.
